A family trail explores bamboo’s natural history and uses as visitors follow clues through the Botanical Gardens.

Follow The Secret Life of Bamboo trail through the Gardens. The trail is listed for 24 October–1 November 2026, 10:00–17:00, and can be collected from the Welcome Desk. It introduces bamboo and its uses and is recommended for ages six and over. Standard Gardens admission is required in addition to the trail ticket.
