October Half Term Family Fun: Bam-BOO!

A family programme turns bamboo into a giant marble run, brooms, races and a roaming 13-foot puppet.

From 28–30 October, build and test a giant bamboo marble run, make a bamboo broom, join broom races and team games, and look out for Bo, a 13-foot bamboo-and-willow puppet. Broom-making runs 11:00–12:30 and 13:30–15:00, with races after each workshop. Bo appears at 11:00, 12:00 and 15:00 daily, plus 13:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. Activities take place outdoors across the lawns and Terrace; broom-making is first come, first served. Gardens entry is included with the ticket; members can book free.
