Services on Christmas Day 2026

Christmas Day at Chichester Cathedral begins with a said Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer in the Lady Chapel at 8am, followed at 9am by a special Christmas Eucharist designed for children aged 0–12 and their caregivers. At 10am the Cathedral Choir sings Choral Mattins, and at 11am the Christmas Day Eucharist features choral music and will be livestreamed. All services are free with no booking required, seating is first-come, first-served, and the Cathedral closes to the public at 12.30pm.
