A free European-style Christmas market of wooden chalets with festive stalls, carols and seasonal food and drink in Winchester Cathedral's historic grounds.
Running from 20 November to 22 December 2026, Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market fills the cathedral's historic grounds with wooden chalets inspired by traditional German Christmas markets. Handpicked exhibitors sell Christmas gifts alongside festive lighting, carols and the aromas of mulled wine and cinnamon. Admission is free with no pre-booking required, and the cathedral also hosts Christmas services and carol concerts during the season.
