The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

Batman's solo crusade is upended when he accidentally adopts an orphan who wants to be his sidekick, just as the Joker schemes to seize Gotham.

This animated action-comedy from director Chris McKay sends the Caped Crusader into a crisis of both crime-fighting and fatherhood, as the Joker's plot against Gotham forces him to reconsider going it alone. Will Arnett voices the self-styled coolest hero in Gotham, joined by Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes and Zach Galifianakis. A family-friendly spin-off bursting with gags, it asks whether even a lone vigilante can learn to be part of a team.
