A first-class steam-hauled dining train from Loughborough Central on Boxing Day, with a four-course meal served at your table.
The Boxing Day Experience is a first-class dining journey on the Great Central Railway, departing Loughborough Central at 1.00pm behind a steam locomotive. Guests arrive from 12 noon for drinks in the Refreshment Room, boarding at 12.30pm. The four-course meal is freshly prepared and served at your table in the Restaurant Cars, followed by tea, coffee and mince pies. The journey includes a pause on Swithland Viaduct with views across the reservoir towards Charnwood Forest before returning to Loughborough Central.
