About

Vocal ensemble I Fagiolini celebrates its 40th anniversary with an a cappella programme at St Mary's Church, Warwick, preceded by a free pre-concert talk.

I Fagiolini mark their 40th anniversary with a programme of 'the best vocal ensemble music we know', spanning works by Victoria, Wilbye, Weelkes, Vecchi, Monteverdi, Howells, Lesur and Ferré. The vocal group, directed by Robert Hollingworth, has spent four decades rethinking what a vocal ensemble can do, from a cappella performance to cross-cultural projects and recordings. A free 'Behind the Music' pre-concert talk takes place at 6.45pm, with a 20-minute interval and an estimated 9.30pm finish.
