About
The London Virtuosi Ensemble pairs classical music with poetry readings in a winter-solstice programme, with violinist Hans Christian Aarvik and conductor Rachael Montesino Young.
This programme combines string works by Pärt, Sibelius, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich with poetry and literature about winter-solstice emotions. It is presented by the London Virtuosi Ensemble in collaboration with solo violinist Hans Christian Aarvik, under conductor Rachael Montesino Young. The event lasts approximately two hours and 20 minutes including an interval.
