Stranger Folk at Belton
About
A family digital folklore adventure sends visitors around the estate to help close a rift between the human and spirit worlds, encountering goblins and boggarts along the way.
The National Trust's Stranger Folk app frames an outdoor adventure around folklore creatures that have slipped through a crack between worlds. Visitors download the app at Belton's Information Hub using its free Wi-Fi and follow the activities around the estate. The app includes a transcript; the source recommends ages 7–11 and notes one scary section. It can be used by wheelchair users and visitors with pushchairs. Published run: 17 October–1 November 2026. The primary timetable lists 09:30–17:30 on most dates and 10:00–16:00 on 1 November. The activity is free, but ordinary property admission applies.
