A Year in the Garden — Telegraph Hill 2026–27
About
Dr Mima Taylor leads a weekly horticulture course through the gardening year, combining plant knowledge, seasonal tasks, practical skills and garden planning.
Dr Mima Taylor leads a year-long adult horticulture course covering plant science, propagation, soils, garden planning, pruning and sustainable maintenance. Weekly teaching combines theory, practical work and seasonal advice, with home assignments and plant identification tasks toward the school’s Foundation Certificate. Students commit to the full academic year and need sufficient spoken and written English for certificate-level study. Friday classes at Telegraph Hill run from 10:30am to 2:30pm across three terms, with Christmas, Easter and home-study half-term breaks. The course began on 18 September 2026 and finishes on 9 July 2027. Guest tutors and field trips form part of the curriculum; their current names and exact trip locations are unpublished.
