A guided tasting of six English whiskies from The Lakes Distillery, hosted by the distillery's Global Ambassador Chris Dennis at Amathus Wimbledon.
This is the third in a series of whisky tastings at Amathus Wimbledon exploring four traditions from Bourbon to Japanese whisky, with this session dedicated to English whisky. The Lakes Distillery, home of the 'World's Best Single Malt 2022', practises the Cognac-inspired art of élevage to build layered flavours in its single malts. Global Ambassador Chris Dennis guides attendees through six drams, including The One Colheita Cask Finished, The Whiskymaker's Reserve No.5 and No.6, and The Chocolatier, with a selection of snacks included. The tasting runs from 6.30 to 8 pm.
