Introduction to 'Strictly' Latin Ballroom Solo Styles (4 weeks)

A four-week beginner course at Pineapple Dance Studios learning solo Latin ballroom styles including Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive.

This four-week introductory course teaches the foundations of 'Strictly' Latin ballroom styles, covering Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive with no prior experience required. Each 60-minute weekly class with professional dancer Tarja de Silva covers basic steps and vocabulary alongside posture, rhythm, coordination and musicality, with a strong focus on solo work. Participants finish with a solid foundation in Latin dance and simple routines across multiple styles.
