Introduction to Copper Sulphate Etching

A beginner one-day course in copper sulphate etching, from preparing a plate to printing an edition.

Learn about etching tools, materials and chemical processes, then ink and print a design using the Bluecoat’s Hughes & Kimber etching press. All materials and a take-away booklet are provided; lunch is not included. The workshop is for ages 18 and over. The print studios are not adapted for wheelchair users; the building and cafe are accessible. £75, including materials.
