Bad Words, Beads and Baubles

A cheeky Christmas-edition sewing workshop where you stitch rude or sassy slogans with sequins, beads and buttons, with a drink included.

This Christmas edition of the Bad Words and Beads workshop invites participants to pick a rude, sweary or sassy slogan — or an inspiring quote — and bring it to life using sequins, colourful beads and novelty buttons. Complete beginners are welcome, though being able to sew a simple stitch is helpful. All materials are provided along with a first drink of wine, beer, cider or a soft drink, and food can be purchased to enjoy while working. The three-hour session works as a Christmas meet-up with friends or a solo outing.
