A Tree Odyssey with Jon Stokes MBE

An illustrated evening talk by Jon Stokes MBE on Britain and Ireland's native trees, hosted by Plymouth Tree People for National Tree Week.

Plymouth Tree People host tree conservationist Jon Stokes, the Tree Council's Director of Trees, Science and Research, for an illustrated talk during National Tree Week. Jon set out to describe and celebrate all of Britain and Ireland's native trees and shrubs — but first had to find them — and the talk follows that journey. The talk lasts about an hour, followed by questions and answers, refreshments and conversation. Copies of his book Trees of Britain and Ireland will be available to purchase.
