No Trees No Seas + Q&A + Short Film: What's 1.5 Degrees to Me? (PG)
About
A screening of the documentary No Trees No Seas about links between woodland and ocean health, preceded by a short shadow-puppetry climate film and followed by a Q&A.
This event opens with Kate Stubbs' 11-minute shadow puppetry short 'What's 1.5 Degrees to Me?', in which an after-school chat takes Danny and his mum to unexpected places. The main feature is James Stuart's 2026 documentary No Trees No Seas, presented by surfer and environmentalist Sam Bleakley, which follows a surfer's search for what is killing our seas and reveals how restoring woodlands could help heal the ocean. The film supports the Plant One CIC campaign to create 500 hectares of 'fish forests' across Cornwall. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Carl Rowlinson, Luke A'Bear and Zoe Smith, and forms part of National Tree Week in partnership with Plymouth Tree People.
