A poetry cabaret evening at Temperance with featured poet Charlotte Ansell, open mic slots, a Dead Good Dead Poet slot and improv guitar from Andy Higgins.

The second of a three-month season of poetry cabaret evenings at Temperance, hosted by local poet Matt Black. The night features performance poet Charlotte Ansell, whose collection Amittere was longlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection, alongside open mic slots of four minutes for original or favourite poems and five-minute musician slots. There is also a Dead Good Dead Poet slot, and Andy Higgins plays improvised guitar for open micers who wish it. A free 40-minute pre-show poetry workshop with Matt Black starts at 6.30pm, with sign-ups on the door from 7.10pm and the show kicking off at 7.30pm.
