About

Seven-piece ska band Ska Train play three sets of 2-Tone classics at Temperance, joined by guest saxophonist Uncle Funk.

Ska Train return to Temperance's cellar for a Friday night of skanking, celebrating the UK ska revival of the late 1970s and early 1980s pioneered by the 2-Tone label. The seven-piece band performs three 45-minute sets of favourites associated with The Specials, Madness, Bad Manners and The Selecter, with DJ sets filling the intervals. Special guest saxophonist Uncle Funk, whose career spans nearly 40 years including stints with Fun Lovin' Criminals and the Skatalites, joins the band on stage. Attendees are encouraged to wear 2-Tone clothes and dancing shoes, with a cleared central dance floor.
