Lento e Violento

Valentina Cortese’s solo work brings dance and circus together with music and illusion in a meditative exploration of repetition and disruption.

A dancer and circus artist builds a fantastical stage world from repeated movements, sudden disruptions, music and magical illusion. BAC presents the performance in its Council Chamber for ages 10 and over; the published running time is approximately 50 minutes.
