Stargazing at Walthamstow: The Origins of the Planets of the Solar System

An evening talk by Michael Lomotey of StowStargazers on the origins of the planets, followed by a guided night-sky walk around Walthamstow Wetlands.

Astronomy enthusiast Michael Lomotey from StowStargazers leads a talk exploring the evolution of the solar system, the origins of the planets and how to spot them from an urban setting, including the hypothetical Planet Nine. The evening continues with an exclusive guided walk through the reserve after hours to view the night sky and try locating constellations, weather permitting. The event runs regardless of weather, and attendees are welcome to bring binoculars and a red-light torch.
