A heat of the British Comedian of the Year competition, where nine acts perform 10-minute sets for the audience vote and a place in the semi-finals.

This heat of the British Comedian of the Year competition features nine acts performing their best 10-minute sets, with the audience voting acts through to the semi-finals. Over 600 comedians applied, with 220 chosen for heats across England, Scotland and Wales, competing for a £10,001 prize at the Grand Final at London's Comedy Store on 8 December. The show runs from 7:30pm to an estimated 9:30pm, with doors opening an hour before, and is strictly for ages 18 and over.
