About
Andrew Planet traces the formation of life and its influence on Earth, from stellar elements and evolving ecosystems to agriculture and agroforestry. The talk is followed by a complimentary Evolution Garden tour.
The programme moves from the formation of chemical elements in stars to planetary formation and the emergence of life. It considers how living systems have reshaped geology, the coevolution of plants and animals and the ecological networks that followed, before turning to human ecology, agriculture, agroforestry and future space production. Meet at 10:45 at the Natural History Museum garden’s west entrance. Advance email booking is required.
