About
A historical performance set in 1544 where King Henry VIII holds an audience at Athelhampton House.
The King, recently married to Queen Catherine Parr, is in poor health and often in a poor humour. During the audience, His Majesty recounts the events of his long reign, including his wives and children, and invites subjects to petition or question him. The performance is seated on a first come first served basis in the Tudor Great Hall.
