Introduction to Natural Dyeing

A full-day workshop teaching the fundamentals of natural dyeing using plants found in nature.

This course covers the fundamentals of natural dyeing, exploring plants rich in colour and how to extract them for textiles. Participants will learn how to choose and prepare fabrics, explore local and worldwide natural dyes, and create a range of samples. The afternoon includes creating a unique scarf using bundle dyeing techniques.
