Book Launch: Sexual Violence in Medicine and Psychiatry: Addressing Harms Through Interdisciplinarity.

A book launch for the collection edited by Rhian Elinor Keyse, Adeline Moussion-Esteve and Emma Yapp examines how medicine and psychiatry engage with sexual violence, followed by refreshments.

The edited collection considers how medical and psychiatric knowledge, practitioners and practices shape wider social discourse around sexual violence and can reproduce marginalisation. Birkbeck’s event page places the launch in its Main Building on Malet Street; the official booking form leaves the room as TBC.
