About

An adult wood-whittling workshop with basket maker and textile artist Danny Manning.

Learn whittling techniques with Danny Manning to make two woodland birds at Woods Mill: a small bird from lime wood in the morning and a larger bird from green wood in the afternoon. The course is suitable for beginners and includes knife-handling instruction and step-by-step guidance. Bring sharp whittling knives (not a Swiss Army knife), safety gloves, a notebook and soft pencils. Wood and refreshments are included. Attendees must be 18 or over; the activity requires some manual strength and dexterity. Free parking is available.
