About
The Barn Theatre Club stages Jez Butterworth's drama The Hills of California, directed by Rob Graham, running 15–23 January 2027 with matinees.
Jez Butterworth's play is set in Blackpool in 1976 during a record dry summer, as the Webb Sisters return to their dying mother's run-down guest house and confront secrets, betrayals and family bonds. The story moves between two time periods to trace how the sisters' relationships developed. The Barn production runs about 2 hours 45 minutes including intervals and is directed by Rob Graham with Michelle Airey as assistant director.
