Award-winning poetry curator Allie Esiri is joined by guest speakers to read from her new collection Sleep, an anthology of around ninety poems on the topic of sleep, or lack of it. Arranged in three sections — Sleep; Insomnia (or Psst, Are You Awake); and Dawn — the anthology moves through the night, pairing poems with introductions offering context and gentle reflections. The evening features works by poets including Margaret Atwood, Wendy Cope, Philip Larkin, Mary Oliver, Sylvia Plath, Rumi and Lemn Sissay, though all readers appear subject to availability.
