Death Cafe
About
A free, facilitated death café offering a friendly, confidential group discussion about death and dying, with tea and cake.
This death café is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, held in a respectful and confidential space. It is not a counselling session and is not intended to lead to any conclusion, product or course of action — simply an opportunity to talk about death and dying in a friendly, conversational setting. The session runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm and includes tea, coffee and cake. It is facilitated by funeral celebrant Kate Stoddart, organised and funded by Unite Community Amber Valley & Derbyshire Dales and supported by Central Co-op. Booking is essential by email or text.
