Death Café with Penny Merrett

A free Death Café hosted by end of life doula Penny Merrett, offering an open conversation about death over tea and cake in the Samuel Worth Chapel.

This Death Café brings people together over tea and cake for a gentle, open discussion about death in a relaxed, supportive setting. Hosted by end of life doula Penny Merrett, the session has no agenda, judgement or set outcome, and is explicitly not a grief support group or counselling session. The aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives. It takes place in the accessible Samuel Worth Chapel at Sheffield General Cemetery.
