Helios - Special Evening Viewings

Evening after-dark viewings of Helios, a seven-metre model of the sun, at Derby Cathedral, with a licensed bar, relaxed seating and live music.

Derby Cathedral opens late on selected Friday and Saturday evenings so visitors can experience the Helios installation — a spectacular seven-metre model of the sun — after dark, seeing the artwork in a new light. The evenings feature a licensed bar, relaxed seating areas and live music in an atmospheric setting. Doors open from 6pm with last entry at 9pm, and visitors can stay as long as they like during the four-hour sessions.
