Walking with History: The Autobiography of Jimmy Reid

Author Brian McGeachan discusses his biography of Govan trade union leader Jimmy Reid at a free drop-in event at Elder Park Library.

Brian McGeachan talks about 'Walking with History: The Autobiography of Jimmy Reid', compiled from fourteen years of conversations with the Govan-born trade union leader, orator, broadcaster and political activist. Reid, who left school at 15, credited his education and love of reading to time spent at Elder Park Library, making the venue a fitting setting.
