Hag: Modern Folklore & Fables

Irenosen Okojie and Emma Glass discuss Hag, a collection of dark feminist retellings of British and Irish folktales, chaired by Sarvat Hasin.

Authors Irenosen Okojie and Emma Glass explore Hag, a collection of uncanny short stories by women writers from Britain and Ireland that reimagine forgotten folktales. Their conversation journeys through magic, mermaids and monsters, and is chaired by novelist Sarvat Hasin. The hour-long event is part of the Norwich Book Festival, programmed by the National Centre for Writing.
