About
An entertaining evening talk exploring what Christmas was really like in 16th-century Tudor England, from Advent to Plough Monday.
The group 'From time to time' presents an informative and entertaining look at Christmas in the 16th century, tracing the season from Advent through the 12 days of Christmas to Plough Monday. The evening highlights how many of today's traditions were unknown 500 years ago. Doors open at 7pm for gallery viewing, with festive snacks at 7.30pm before the talk begins.
