Concert: An Dannsa Dub
About
An Dannsa Dub bring their fusion of traditional Scottish music, Gaelic song and heavy digital dub to Hellens Manor for a live concert.
An Dannsa Dub, formed in 2020 by dub vocalist and producer Tom Spirals and Scottish traditional musician Euan McLaughlin, blend traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song with driving digital dub basslines. Their name is Gaelic for 'The Dub Dance', and their sound draws on the Gaelic and West African rhythms that influenced reggae and modern dance music. Nominated for Live Act of the Year at the MG Na Trad Awards and the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, the duo perform a live concert starting at 19:30, with the Haywain Bar opening an hour beforehand.
