Remembrance Sunday: Choral Requiem Mass & Procession
About
A Remembrance Sunday choral requiem mass followed by a procession to the Bedford Park War Memorial for the Last Post, wreath-laying and two minutes' silence.
St Michael & All Angels marks Remembrance Sunday with a choral requiem mass beginning at 9.55am on 8 November 2026, sung by the church choir under director of music Jonathan Dods and preached by Fr Kevin Morris. At the end of the service the congregation processes to the Bedford Park War Memorial outside the Parish Hall for the Last Post, the laying of wreaths and the two minutes' silence. Inside the church, displays include more than 500 poppies knitted by the congregation, ceramic poppies from the Tower of London display and 'There but not there' silhouettes representing the fallen.
