About
A Chiswick Chamber Orchestra family concert pairing Howard Blake's The Snowman with Dan Whibley's musical setting of David Litchfield's story The Bear and the Piano.
Chiswick Chamber Orchestra's December concert, conducted by Peter Robertson with leader Stephanie Waite, combines two story-based works. The programme includes Howard Blake's The Snowman, scored with flutes, celesta and harp among its forces, and The Bear and the Piano, a piece by Dan Whibley based on David Litchfield's children's story. The concert takes place at St Michael and All Angels Church in Bedford Park, Chiswick.
