Workshop with artist Kirsty Badenoch

Artist Kirsty Badenoch leads a hands-on creative workshop exploring 'grafting' as a drawing, writing and thinking process in the Cultivate Colindale community garden.

Part of the 'grafted-on' exhibition, this workshop explores grafting both as a horticultural practice and as a metaphor for joining disparate ideas, places and plants. Working in the garden and greenhouses, participants use garden materials in playful drawing and writing exercises that engage the senses and invite chance and discovery. The session builds towards creating large-scale collaborative works together.
