Grafted-on: a garden exhibition by Kirsty Badenoch
About
An exhibition of large-scale drawings and installations by Kirsty Badenoch exploring ecological and planetary processes, shown in an inner-city London garden.
Grafted-on presents large-scale drawings and installations by artist Kirsty Badenoch, created from flows of distant rivers, forests, deserts and oceans and displayed in an inner-city London garden. Using graphite, ink and steel, the work transplants traces of elemental and industrial forces to explore entanglements between planetary processes, ecological systems and human–more-than-human relations. The exhibition opens on Saturday 14 November, 11am–2pm, with a workshop on Saturday 21 November, 11am–1pm, and is open Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am–4pm. It is hosted alongside the Light and Flight Festival in Barnet.
