About
An exhibition at Leeds Industrial Museum celebrating civil engineering and John Smeaton's legacy, with objects and a display by the Young Smeatonians group.
Marking the 300th anniversary of John Smeaton, known as the Father of Civil Engineering, this exhibition celebrates civil engineering in its many forms. Visitors can uncover unique objects that were central to Smeaton's journey, alongside an accompanying exhibition by the museum's Young Smeatonians group posing challenging questions about the subject. The exhibition is held in partnership with Leeds 2023 and forms part of the Smeaton300 programme.
