Scribes with Vibes Book Launch: Where I’m From

Scribes with Vibes celebrates the launch of its anthology Where I’m From with live readings from nine contributing writers during Black History Month.

Scribes with Vibes marks Black History Month with the launch of its anthology Where I’m From, subtitled Many Truths, Nine Voices, One Root. The collection gathers nine writers from diverse backgrounds reflecting on identity, heritage, family, culture and belonging, with roots in Africa, the Caribbean and the wider diaspora. The book grew out of the Scribes with Vibes creative writing programme. The launch features live readings from contributors, discussion of the inspiration behind the anthology, and the chance to meet the writers, with every attendee receiving a copy of the book that can be signed by the authors.
