Screen Print and Construct your own Lampshade

A workshop with textile designer Millie Rothera combining screen printing with construction of a lampshade.

Participants design a pattern, choose and mix colours, cut a paper stencil, screen-print fabric with a silk screen and squeegee, then heat-set the print and construct a lampshade. Millie Rothera guides the session with demonstrations and one-to-one help. The workshop introduces screen-printing tools and techniques that participants can continue exploring at home.
