Dementia Friendly Film Screening: By the Light of the Silvery Moon at Arnold Library

A relaxed, dementia-friendly screening of the classic film By the Light of the Silvery Moon at Arnold Library, open to all.

Arnold Library hosts a relaxed film screening of By the Light of the Silvery Moon, the classic musical following the Winfield family in small-town Indiana as Marjorie's boyfriend Bill returns from the Army after World War I. The screening is designed to be particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, along with their family and friends, though anyone is welcome. Lighting and volume are kept sensitive to the audience, talking and singing during the film are encouraged, and a quiet space is available in the main library for anyone needing a break.
