Kate Griffiths teaches two age-qualified special-effects make-up workshops in the Barley Room on Tuesday 27 October: ages 7–11 from 10:30am to 12:30pm, then ages 11–16 from 1:15pm to 3:15pm. She brings experience from film, television and theatre. Participants explore injury effects using stage make-up, including fake blood and bone effects. The workshop may not suit people who dislike gore.
