Animated Culture - Black History Month
About
A free charcoal animation workshop for 13-17 year olds celebrating Black History Month, run by Packed Lunch Productions at Chipping Barnet Library.
Participants learn to use a stationary camera and basic animation software to make films from charcoal drawings, creating original work reflecting their own culture and heritage as a celebration of Black History Month. The two-hour session is run by the charity Packed Lunch Productions and welcomes all levels of animation and drawing ability, including complete beginners. Materials and guidance are provided; attendees need only bring a mobile phone with the Stop Motion Studio app. The workshop is for young people aged 13 to 17.
