Bringing Black Legends to Life, 10-13 yrs

A hands-on creative technology workshop for 10-13 year olds using AI and 3D tools to bring Black myths, legends and historical characters into the digital world.

Part of Black History Month, this workshop invites young people aged 10-13 to explore Black myths, legends and historical characters and reimagine them digitally. Participants begin by choosing a character or story, then use AI text-to-image tools to create a visual interpretation before learning how their 2D design can be turned into a 3D digital character. The session also introduces how such creations could be animated or used in games, film or VR, and no previous experience is required.
