EXCELerate- September-Dec 2026

A weekly advanced acting training programme for adults with previous experience, running Tuesdays at Barbican Theatre, Plymouth.

EXCELerate is a weekly acting training programme at Barbican Theatre for adults aged 18+ who already have some acting experience and want to progress to an advanced level. Sessions cover voice, movement and character work, rehearsal discipline, scene study and devising, with potential showings or scratch performances. Each two-hour session is led by a specialist facilitator in an ensemble setting, and participants begin with a short introductory workshop to confirm the group is a good fit.
