Heritage-Led Regeneration in Perth

A day of talks and showcases on sustainable, heritage-led regeneration projects across Perth and Kinross, hosted by the Heritage Network.

This day-long event explores how sustainable regeneration supports successful placemaking in Perth and Kinross, following Perth's 2021 UNESCO City of Craft & Folk Art inscription and its £35 million investment prospectus for 2025–2040. Speakers from organisations including Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust, Historic Environment Scotland, Dundonald Castle, Culture Perth, YMCA Tayside and Glasgow City Heritage Trust will give short talks and project showcases on topics such as reusing historic buildings, community engagement, town centre renewal, culture and tourism, and environmental sustainability. The day includes refreshments, lunch, networking opportunities and a tour of the YMCA Tayside building.
