Tetra Pak Dry Point Printing

A printmaking course at DCA teaching dry point intaglio printing using recycled Tetra Pak cartons, for beginner and intermediate printmakers.

This course teaches dry point printing the lo-fi way using recycled Tetra Pak cartons instead of metal plates, in a process similar to etching or dry point on metal. Participants cut the cartons into shapes to create fine line drawings or textured areas, and use Chine Colle techniques to add pre-glued coloured papers. Aimed at both beginner and intermediate printmakers, the course leaves attendees with a collection of detailed intaglio prints.
