A weekend retreat at Rookhow with facilitator Gareth Thomas exploring Joanna Macy's 'Work That Reconnects' programme.

This residential weekend, led by trained facilitator Gareth Thomas of Woodmatters, offers Joanna Macy's 'The Work That Reconnects', a programme designed to help people support themselves and others in challenging times. The process moves through four stages: Coming from Gratitude, Honoring Our Pain for the World, Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and Going Forth. The event runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday early afternoon, with accommodation available in the bunkbarn, yurt, Meeting House floor and camping, or day attendance. Each morning includes a short Quaker Meeting for Worship and each evening a reflective Epilogue; attendees also bring or prepare food to share.
